South Pier Shipyard was established in 1926 and has seen many a transformation, from a complete shipyard to today's more modern techniques with the use of GRP (Glass reinforced plastic) yachts.
South Pier Marine 2008 Limited is wholly owned and run by the Wood Family in Jersey, Channel Islands who took ownership in June 2008.
We are Beneteau Motor Boat & Yacht dealers & Highfield RIB dealers for the Channel Islands, with representation in both Jersey & Guernsey. We also have a large selection of used boats for sale. But we are always in need of more used boats to sell, so please consider South Pier Marine if you decide to sell your boat. We also take part exchanges on new boats, so look out for some great deals on our used stock boats, please ask us for details.
The back bone of South Pier has always been about boat building and maintenance, and maintenance and repairs still represents what South Pier is best known for today. We have a dedicated in house fully equipped ‘Liferaft and Lifejacket Service Centre’ with Seago certified technicians. Remember safety at sea is no accident, your lifejackets should be inspected annually, your life raft should also be inspected in accordance with it's inspection time line.
In 2010 we opened a dedicated Engineering and Engine Service Centre, this is headed by a fully qualified marine engineer, Phil Le Brocq. In November 2013 South Pier Marine was appointed as the sole dealer for Honda Marine in Jersey.
Our fully stocked Chandlery has a huge selection of items for almost everything you could possibly need when you go boating, kayaking or just socialising with our range of casual clothing. If its not in stock, we can order it.
