This 2010 Fibramar 680 is a superb example of a purpose-built offshore fishing boat, offering an excellent combination of practicality, performance and economy.
Built new for her sole owner, an extremely experienced angler, she was specified from the outset to create a capable and uncomplicated fishing platform. She has remained in the same ownership ever since and has been professionally maintained to an exceptionally high standard throughout.
Powered by twin Suzuki DF60 four-stroke outboards with approximately 750 hours, she offers reassuring twin-engine reliability while remaining remarkably economical to run. Cruising comfortably at around 21 knots and capable of approximately 30 knots, she is equally at home heading offshore for a day’s fishing or exploring the islands and coastline.
Her open and practical deck layout provides plenty of working space for serious anglers, complemented by stainless-steel and removable gunwale-mounted rod holders. Excellent all-round visibility and SeaStar hydraulic steering make her particularly easy to handle.
The electronics package is comprehensive, featuring twin 9″ Simrad NSS evo3 chartplotters, Furuno FCV-628 fishfinder/depth sounder, Icom VHF and a Fusion marine stereo system with six speakers.
Significant investment has also been made in keeping the boat up to a very high standard. She underwent a complete re-wire using marine-grade tinned cable in December 2023, together with new twin batteries and a smart charging system. A new SeaStar hydraulic steering ram was fitted in July 2025, while the twin Suzuki engines received their latest full service in July 2025.
The hull is epoxy coated rather than traditionally antifouled, and the boat has been freshwater washed after every trip. She was professionally polished in July 2025 and will be cleaned again prior to handover.
