For the ultimate rough water capable RIB’s you have to look no further than the Redbay range of boats. We are pleased to list this Redbay Stormforce 8.4m Expedition, built for her sole owner in 2016 and launched in 2017. She is wintered ashore & only afloat for the summer months. She is serviced annually regardless of hours run. She is powered by a single Yanmar 6LPA producing 315hp, the engine has run 380 hours from new. The engine is coupled to a Yanmar ZT370 duo prop outdrive. You can comfortably cruise at 25 knots and on calm days, you can reach 31 knots if required.

Comfort and Features

Thanks to her partially enclosed wheelhouse, you will remain warm and dry on those expeditions, she even has diesel cabin heating for the wheelhouse area. The canvas roof is removable for warmer days. Down forward, there is a small storage/cabin.

Seating Arrangement

There are 2 x forward-facing seats at the helm, 1 for the helmsman and the other for the navigator. There is an along side bench seat down the port side. On the starboard side is a fixed table & perch seat, with autopilot control to hand.

Stern Features

To the stern, the engine lid also doubles as a rear bench seat with a backrest & seat base cushion that is removable. There are safety rails around the transom area, as well as a SUP (paddle board) rack either side. At the transom, there is a bathing platform with a telescopic swim ladder hung under the platform. At the bow you have a large Sampson post, with a 12v anchor windlass with foot controls at the bow & button at the helm.

Overall, if you are looking for a year-round RIB that will take you places in comfort, then this Redbay is the right boat for your needs. As you can see by the photos, she is in excellent condition for her age. She is a credit to her owner.
